Dr. Michael C. Brown has been a faculty member in the Department of Pharmaceutical Care and Health Systems since 2000, and was granted tenure and promotion to associate professor 2008 as a direct result of his excellence in the scholarship of teaching and learning. He has a national reputation as a leader in pharmacy education and has developed an award-winning program of educational research and scholarship that closely aligns his research, teaching and service efforts. Dr. Brown is consistently recognized by his students and peers for his innovative approaches to teaching and student assessment, as well as the sophisticated integration of technology in his teaching and evaluation.
