Nelson L. Rhodus, DMD, MPH


Academy for Excellence for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning 2008 Inductee

Dr. Nelson L. Rhodus is a Distinguished Professor and Director of the Division of Oral Medicine, Oral Diagnosis and Radiology in the Department of Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences. He is recognized nationally and internationally as an educator and scholar for his commitment to lecturing, authorship and research. Dr. Rhodus is considered an innovator by colleagues for his creative approaches to teaching both inside the classroom and in his daily interactions with students, colleagues and patients, and shares his enthusiastic commitment to teaching and learning by working with students and practicing professionals across multiple disciplines.
