ly: Senior Vice President for Health Sciences (SVPHS) sends memo to deans giving instructions for the upcoming year's promotion and tenure cycle. Refer to website for complete information and instructions. www.ahc.umn.edu/P&T

September 28: Deadline for receipt of Annual Appraisal of Probationary Faculty forms (Form 12 or Form 12a).

2008
January 15:
Deadline for receipt of dossiers for:
        School of Nursing
        School of Public Health
        Center for Allied Health Programs

January 29: Deadline for receipt of dossiers for:
        School of Dentistry
        Medical School - Twin Cities and Duluth
        College of Pharmacy
        College of Veterinary Medicine

January: Academic Health Center Promotion and Tenure Committee reviews and advises the SVPHS on the School of Nursing, School of Public Health, and Center for Allied Health Programs dossiers.

January - March: The SVPHS, AHC Assistant Vice President for Education, and Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs review all dossiers. As appropriate, the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost is consulted.

March: Deadline for receipt of dossiers and letters of recommendation to the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost's office for administrative processing for the Board of Regents review.

April: SVPHS and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost send notification to deans, department heads, and faculty regarding their recommended promotion/tenure to the Board of Regents.

Notification sent to faculty regarding their non-reappointment and terminal year.

April: Board of Regents reviews and gives final approval/disapproval on dossiers forwarded to them; and, sends letters to candidates informing them of their decisions.
